Mr. Kirk Sherman, Council Auditor, gave an overview of the Courthouse Audit report.

Ms. Sherry Hall, Office of the Mayor, addressed the committee concerning recent problems at the City’s Call Center.  The large volume of calls and the length of calls was cited, resulting from the bills for solid waste and stormwater fees being mailed.  The system had not been able to handle the initial demand.  She noted that additional staffing and monitoring has been provided, and that periodic updates will be given to Council members.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:47 a.m.
