Attendance: Council Members W. Jones (Chair), Janice Billy Council Auditor’s Office; Peggy Sidman, Office of General Counsel; Lisa Rinaman, Sherry Hall Administration; Diane Smith, Meghan Friel, ECAs; Marilyn Allen, Juliette Williams, Legislative Svcs.
The Chair called the Agenda meeting to order at 1:35 and reviewed those items on the agenda that were ready for action, deferral, second reading and re-referral.
The Chairman indicated that he would talk with C/M M. Jones, sponsor of ORD 2006-591, ORD Apv the Soutel/Moncrief Retail Redev Area, about the status of the proposed legislation. Lisa Rinaman said that she will be able to better explain the timetable at the next Committee meeting in two weeks.
On Item #2, ORD 2007-1207, ORD Directing the Preservation & Relocation of Fire Station #5 at 347 Riverside Ave, Consistent with Contractual Obligations with Fidelity National, the Chair indicated that he would be getting together with Paul Crawford of JEDC to move this bill along to resolution.
There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 1:38 p.m.
