Attendance:    Council Members Graham (Chair), C/M Joost;  Margaret Sidman,  Office of General Counsel; Janice Billy Council Auditor’s Office; Lisa Rinaman, Sherry Hall, Administration;  Cynthia Nixon, Children’s Commission; Heather Monroe-Ossi; Janice Hunter; Stan Johnson, Celeste Hicks; Sandra Lane, ECAs; Marilyn Allen, Legislative Svcs.

 

The Chair called the re-scheduled RCD Committee agenda meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. 

 

The Chair asked the Council Auditors Office’s Janice Billy to review the agenda to indicate what items were ready for action or deferral.

 

On Item #4, ORD 2007-1207, Directing the Preservation & Relocation of Fire Station #5 at 347 Riverside Ave, Consistent with Contractual Obligations with Fidelity National Financial, Inc, the Chair asked what the bill’s sponsor’s intentions were with the legislation, a question that was raised at the previous agenda meeting.  Janice Billy indicated that Council Member Johnson had advised the auditors that she would inform the office when she is ready to move.  The Chair indicated that the issue would be raised and discussed at the Committee meeting.

 

On Item #148, ORD 2008-148, Auth Fla Fish & Wildlife Conservation Comm to Estab King Rd Historical Pk as a Unit of the Thomas Creek Wildlife Mgmt Area to allow Public Hunting, the Chair asked whose Council District was the site located in and had the matter been discussed with the Member.  Janice Billy indicated that the site was located in Council District 11 and that Council Member Holt had been at the Finance Committee meeting on Monday when the bill was discussed.

 

On Item #19, RESO Designating Propty at 7152 Lone Star Rd as a Brownfield Area for Environmental Rehab & Economic Dev, there was a question as to whether or not there was going to be a TEU amendment offered.

 

 

There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
