Attendance: Council Member Bishop (Chair); Peggy Sidman, Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; Phillip Peterson, Council Auditor’s Office; Lin White, Bob Williams, Public Works; Steve Smith, Planning & Development; Vince Siebold, Waste Management; Celeste Hicks, ECA; Duncan Ross, Mark Dishan, Staci Lewis; Sharonda Pender, Legislative Svcs.
The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and proceeded to take everyone through the marked agenda with proposed actions provided by the Council Auditor’s Office.
On Item #2007-968, ORD Apv Fair Share Assessmt with SS Investment Group for “Northwood Town Center” Proj, Dylan Reingold indicated that he would he would be contacting the client and report back on the status of the proposed legislation.
The Chair indicated that Item #3, ORD 2007-1114, Closing & Abandoning Portions of Rosselle St. at req of Miller Electric, was being deferred at the request of Council Member W. Jones.
On Item #4, ORD 2007-1302, Auth an Agreemt with Beach Boulevard Venture for Beach to Construct a Regional Stormwater Retention Pond, Lin White will inquire about the bill’s status and brief the Committee.
The Chair announced that Item #8, ORD 2008-758, Closing & Abandoning a Portion of Woodcrest Rd at the req of Westside Toyota, would be deferred at the request of Council Member W. Jones.
Item #12, ORD 2008-832, re JAA & Runway Extensions at Craig Field, was being deferred at the request of the bill’s sponsor, Council Member Bishop.
Item #20, ORD 2008-925, Approp $5,000 from Environmental Protection Fund to Pay for Students and Members of Public to Attend the 2008 Florida Coastal School of Law/Jacksonville U Environmental Summit, would be moved as an emergency. Emergency action request because the conference is on November 6th.
There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
