Attendance: Committee Chair Ray Holt; Committee Member
Don Redman; Shannon Eller, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Department
of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, Ray
Holt, called the meeting to order at 3:45 p.m.
He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
09-254 There may be an additional condition proposed by amendment; Council
Member Redman expects a large number of interested citizens may be in
attendance and wish to speak to the bill.
09-401/402 Transit shelter and pay phone advertising
bills will be heard on October 16th.
09-444 Deferred pending drafting of a substitute.
09-529/530 Will be the subject of a revised application
for rezoning and land use and substituted.
09-548 Deferred pending further meetings to develop
a substitute or substantial amendment.
09-694 A settlement agreement may have been reached
on this appeal of a denial by the Historic Preservation Commission of a request
for a permit to demolish a structure in the Springfield Historic District. Jason Teal will address the committee.
In response to a question,
the Chair was advised that Council Member Davis will be present at the meeting
address legislation relative to the School Board.
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:52 p.m.
