MEETING MINUTES
July 21, 2009

Attendance: Committee Chair Ray Holt; Committee Member Don
Redman; Council President Richard Clark; Shannon Eller and Dylan Reingold, Office
of General Counsel; John Crofts and Folks Huxford, Department of Planning and
Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Jessica Stephens, and Rick Campbell, Office of
City Council
The Committee Chair, Ray Holt,
called the meeting to order at 3:46 p.m.
He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
08-541and 08-542 Public
hearings set for August 4, 2009; it was noted that a property sale is pending, and that these items may or may
not move forward at that time
09-347 Awaited real estate
transaction has occurred
09-401 Public hearing set for
today; item may be considered early in the meeting
09-429 Mr. Reingold advised
that there may be an amendment; Mrs. Eller suggested that any amendment could be considered at a future
meeting
09-463 Mrs. Lahmeur stated
that receipt of hearing notice by the property owner had been verified
Council President Clark
thanked the committee and its Chair for their willingness to serve, recognizing
the long hours and the often overwhelming task faced by those who are assigned
to the Land Use and Zoning Committee. He
expressed appreciation to the Chair for his commitment in accepting that
position.
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:52 p.m.
