of General Counsel; John Crofts, Sean Kelly, and Folks Huxford, Department of
Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell,
Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, Art
Graham, called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m. He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone
through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
06-24 It was noted that this appeal is scheduled to be
heard at the end of the meeting; however, the Chair advised that it would be
considered early, and that a request to rerefer to the Historic Preservation
Commission has been received; Mr. Reingold will research the matter of whether
the public hearing must be held if the item is remanded to the Historic
Preservation Commission; in response to a question from C/M Joost, the Chair
provided an outline of events to-date and possible actions
08-552 Revised conditions have been submitted, and Mr.
Harden, agent, gave an overview
09-50 Withdrawal anticipated, with no refund of fees
being recommended
09-161 It was noted that this item was rereferred to
LUZ at the City Council meeting, and that no public hearing is scheduled for
tonight
09-326 Unless verification of payment for advertising
is received, the item may be deferred
09-347 Deferral anticipated to allow for completion of
a property transaction prior to rezoning
09-404 Deferral requested, with continuation of the
public hearing
09-429 LUZ public hearing has not yet been scheduled
09-443 Substitute being proposed for consideration
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:46 p.m.
