Folks Huxford, Department of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur,
Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, Art
Graham, called the meeting to order at 3:33 p.m. He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone
through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
06-24 Public hearing
scheduled for June 2, 2009; discussion was held concerning the possibility of remand to the Jacksonville Historic
Preservation Commission; the Chair expressed concern
with further delays
08-541 Public hearing set for
June 16, 2009

08-552 Request to defer
anticipated; Mr. Paul Harden, agent, advised that a meeting with the Florida Dept. of Transportation
concerning access points has been scheduled

defer until he is advised of resolution or impasse
09-50 Applicant has been
contacted; to be readvertised for new public hearings
09-254 Previously deferred to
September 15, 2009
09-325 Mr. Paul Crawford,
Deputy Director, JEDC, expects item will be ready for consideration
09-347 Public hearing and
potential action June 2, 2009; Mr. Paul Harden, agent, indicated his client would object to the zoning being
approved prior to an anticipated property closure
