Eller, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Sean Kelly, and Folks Huxford, Department
of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell,
Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, Art
Graham, called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone
through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
08-552 C/M Lee wants Dunn
Avenue access and will be speaking with Mr. Paul Harden, agent; deferral requested, but could change before
tonight’s meeting
09-12 C/M Lee will be meeting
on this, and hopes that someone will come forward to take over the community development district; deferral
was requested
09-50 Change to PUD
anticipated; discussion was held concerning the public hearing, and Mrs. Eller explained the merits
of closing the public hearing tonight, and then re-noticing and readvertising when the PUD is filed
09-91 Mrs. Eller advised that
a meeting on this is pending
09-161 In response to a
question from C/M Lee, the PUD particulars were explained; the public hearing is to be continued and no action
taken
09-192 It was noted that the
Planning and Development Dept. has recommended denial
09-250 C/M Clark expressed
his views on the signage; Mr. Charles Mann, agent, indicated disagreement with one of the
conditions being recommended by the Planning and Development Dept. and the Planning Commission
09-254 Public hearing to be
continued to September 15, 2009, as the applicant will be out of town; the Chair expressed his
preference for continuing the public hearing rather than closing and later readvertising
09-287 Public hearing to be
continued to June 16, 2009
09-288 Public hearing to be
continued to June 16, 2009
09-325 Mrs. Eller advised
that there may be an amendment
09-327 It was noted that
there are conditions to be placed on granting the waiver

business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:48 p.m.
