Attendance: Committee Vice Chair Stephen Joost; Committee
Members Don Redman and Reggie Brown; Shannon Eller and Dylan Reingold, Office
of General Counsel; John Crofts, Department of Planning and Development; Merriane
Lahmeur, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Vice Chair, Stephen
Joost, called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
As Mr. Crofts was temporarily out of the room, Ms. Eller offered to take
everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
08-892, 08-893, and 08-970 These Mayport-related bills
are to be deferred, and eventually readvertised; no public hearing scheduled
for tonight
08-1069 It was initially noted that C/M Jones had
requested deferral; however, it was later stated that he is now ready to
proceed; Mr. Crofts indicated that the Planning Dept. had some remaining
issues, but will try to have everything ready for consideration in time for the
committee meeting
09-12 Rereferred to committee pursuant to the request
of C/M Lee at the City Council meeting; action anticipated tonight
09-60 In response to inquiry, it was noted that the
Finance Committee recommended approval
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
