Attendance: Committee Vice Chair Stephen Joost; Committee
Members Ray Holt, Don Redman and Jack Webb; Shannon Eller, Office of General
Counsel; John Crofts and Folks Huxford, Department of Planning and Development;
Merriane Lahmeur, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Vice Chair, Stephen
Joost, called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
06-220 Withdrawal requested
by Mr. Paul Harden
08-546 To be substituted for
PUD rezoning, with rereferral
08-562 Mr. Dick Kravitz
advised that C/M Davis favors moving forward, with any unresolved issues concerning easement rights to be
addressed by affected parties before Tuesday night
08-784 In response to inquiry
by C/M Holt, Mr. Harden advised that all of the changes are not contained in the conditions, and that a
revised written description should also be approved
08-799 Scheduled for action
tonight, but subject to change before meeting
08-840 C/M Webb requested
early consideration and noted community concerns; if ultimately deferred, the public hearing will be
continued; C/M Joost expressed a potential conflict of interest
08-893 It was noted that there
is no public hearing tonight on this item
08-1050 Mr. Harden requested
deferral, with continuation of public hearing suggested by Ms. Eller
08-1060 It was noted that
appeals are heard last, and discussion relative to procedure followed
08-1108 In response to a
question, Ms. Eller advised that this is a general resolution supporting the plan, and it is separate from the land
use map legislation
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
