Chairman Yarborough announced that at the conclusion of the agenda at the next committee meeting there will be a presentation by the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida.

 

Randy Wise of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF Local 122) spoke to the committee briefly about the good work being done every day by Jacksonville’s firefighters and lamenting several recent unfavorable news stories about the department.  The JAFF is preparing to launch a positive public relations campaign to get the word out to the community about the service and dedication of Jacksonville’s firefighters to the safety and well-being of the Jacksonville community.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:09 p.m.
