The Committee Chair, Council Member Shad, called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
The Chair noted that Items No. 1 & 2 (RESO 2009-197, Expressing Council’s Displeasure of JEA Considering Closing JEA Satellite Customer Care Ctrs; Request JEA Conduct Survey…; RESO 2009-198, Encouraging JEA to Keep Open Satellite Customer Care Ctrs…) had been on the agenda for a while.
The Chair indicated that the Committee would take up appointments first and that Council President Clark would be present for the consideration of Item #5, ORD-MC Amend Chapt 20 (Exec Ofc of the Mayor), Ord Code, by Creating New Pt 2 (ofc of Inspector Gen) to establ Functions, Purpose, Duties.
The Chair announced that Wight Greger would be at the meeting to field any questions on two items on the agenda where emergency action had been requested: ORD 2009-922, Apv Sale of $15,000,000 of Jax Housing Finance Auth’s Homeowner Mtg Rev Bonds; ORD 2009-923, Apv Sale of $46,000,000 of Jax Housing Finance Auth;s Multifamily Housing Rev Bonds.
There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 9:33 a.m.
