Attendance: Committee Vice Chair Jack Webb (acting as
Chair); Committee Members Michael Corrigan and Bill Bishop; Heather Norsworthy,
Office of Council Auditor; Peggy Sidman, Howard Maltz, and Shannon Eller, Office
of General Counsel; Philip Zamarron and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council; Lisa
Rinaman, Office of the Mayor
The Committee Vice Chair, Jack
Webb, called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and asked Ms. Norsworthy to take
everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
09-465 Previous deferral
noted; answers to initial questions have now been obtained
09-468 Council auditors working
on issues; C/M Corrigan expressed his agreement with deferral
09-515, 09-516, and 09-517
Vice Chair was advised that deferral had been requested by Chair via memorandum, and not as a result of
Council Auditor questions; discussion relative to deferral followed, with the Vice Chair also asking why
the legislation is before the Rules Committee;
the Vice Chair indicated these bills will be deferred
09-611 Deferral anticipated
09-674 Appointee is not a
resident of
09-675 Ms. Rinaman stated
that withdrawal is being requested
09-682 C/M Corrigan requested
that he be included as a sponsor
