City Council; Lisa Rinaman and Sherry Hall, Office of the Mayor
The Committee Chair, Jack
Webb, called the meeting to order at 9:33 a.m.
He asked Ms. Norsworthy to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
09-185 The Chair was advised
that no changes have been made since previous committee discussions; it is not known if C/M Brown will attend the
meeting
09-197 Deferral anticipated
09-198 Deferral anticipated
09-205 Discussion was held concerning budgetary
impacts and use of the loan pool; it was noted that the administration has
worked with the Office of Council Auditor and that Ms. Janice Billy will be
present at the meeting
09-305 The Chair inquired as to whether C/M Corrigan
would be present at the meeting, commenting that City funds are being
appropriated for a school
Ms. Sidman suggested that the
Chair remind everyone of the workshop meeting scheduled for April 23, 2009,
concerning 2008-538 (amended and restated landfill agreement). In response to a question, she indicated her
understanding that the bill is not being moved at that meeting. Discussion followed concerning protocol
involving sworn testimony and subpoena powers.
