Sidman, Office of General Counsel; Shirley Nulf and Rick Campbell, Office of
City Council; Lisa Rinaman, Office of the Mayor
The Committee Chair, Jack
Webb, called the meeting to order at 9:34 a.m.
He asked Ms. Norsworthy to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
08-744 The Chair indicated a
willingness to entertain a motion recommending withdrawal
08-1107 The Chair stated that
Ms. Jaffe will be present, and that the legislation will be considered
09-66 C/M Yarborough noted
that the fire station is in District 5, rather than District 7, and inquired as to the appropriateness of
an amendment
09-75 and 09-76 Ms. Sidman explained that amendments
for these bills were recommended at a prior committee meeting; she suggested
that today’s action be to recommend approval, with the bills being kept off the
consent agenda at Council so that the previously recommended amendments can be
considered there
