Sidman, Office of General Counsel; Juliette Williams and Rick Campbell, Office
of City Council; Lisa Rinaman, Office of the Mayor
The Committee Chair, Warren
Jones, called the meeting to order at 1:39 p.m.
He began by thanking everyone for their support this year relative to
the work of the committee, and then proceeded to take everyone through the
marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
09-407 Deferral has been
requested by C/M Lee
09-450 In response to
questions, it was noted that this appropriation is for demolition of the Park View Inn and that site contamination has complicated
redevelopment efforts
09-485 It was stated that Ms.
Wight Gregor would be present at the committee meeting; Ms. Sidman advised that the substitute will
include the revised LHAP and Ms. Billy explained the program
A presentation will be given
at the committee meeting by Ms. Ros Phillips, Director of the Recreation and
Community Services Department and Mr. Bruce
The meeting was adjourned at 1:47
