LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

 

June 15, 2010

Attendance:  Committee Chair Ray Holt; Committee Member Don Redman; Dylan Reingold and Jason Gabriel, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Sean Kelly, and Folks Huxford, Department of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Jessica Stephens, Sharonda Davis, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council

 

The Committee Chair, Ray Holt, called the meeting to order at 3:46 p.m.  He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.

 

Changes, additions, and comments concerning the agenda as marked included:

09-530 Companion legislation to 10-394; will consider early in the meeting

10-315 Request received to continue public hearing and defer the bill

10-341 Proposed amendment includes revised written description and conditions

10-346 Clarified real estate numbers to be part of the amendment

10-374 Proposed substitute provides for rezoning to PUD (rather than to RMD-A)

 

Mr. Reingold advised that all of the semi-annual bills should be amended to reference the correct the statutory provision (pilot program).

 

10-377 Proposed amendment includes conditions

10-389 Proposed amendment includes conditions

10-390 Discussion was held concerning specific language of proposed amendment; Mr. T. R.        Hainline noted that a portion of the property is in C/M Lee’s district, but that this is not            shown on the agenda; Mr. Reingold advised that this information is contained in the bill

10-395 Additional amendments to be proposed

10-397 Proposed amendment includes conditions

10-400 Proposed amendment revises MU language

 

The Chair expressed his thanks to everyone for their assistance with the committee during this past year.

 

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:05 p.m.
