At the conclusion of the agenda the committee heard comments from John Turner, a Mandarin resident, concerning a propane tank incident near his home recently.  Seeing a tall column of flame issuing from a large propane tank at a business near his home he called 9-1-1 and was dissatisfied with the lack of response and lack of information provided to him about what was happening and whether the flame posed a danger to his neighborhood and the adjacent Mandarin High School.  Chairman Fussell promised to have someone investigate the incident and provide Mr. Turner with additional information.
