Attendance:  Council Member Bishop (Chair); Steve Rohan, Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; Heather Norsworthy, Council Auditor’s Office;  Lisa Rinaman, Administration; John Jones, Lin White, Public Works; Babette Ashley, Julie Miller; Allison Miller, ECA;  Philip Zamarron, Legislative Services, John J. Jackson, Council Research Division

 

The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. and proceeded to review the agenda.

 

The Chair inquired why we were not ready to move on Item #1, ORD 2010-332, Apv Fair Share Assessmt with Signature Land, Inc. for “Biddy Parcel Commercial” Proj; Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold explained the delay.

 

The Chair inquired what was holding up Items #2&3, ORD 2010-608, Granting Shaws’ Land Cleaning Appl for Renewal of CON, and ORD 2010-609, Granting Action Recycling Corp Appl for Renewal of CON.

 

The Chair wanted to know who now is the sponsor of ORD-MC 2010-695, Amend Secs re Fair Share Assessmt Administrative Procedures, now that Daniel Davis is no longer a Council Member.  Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold will meet with the Chair to explain.

 

Assistant Council Auditor Heather Norsworthy indicated that Phillip Peterson would be at the Committee meeting to field questions and explain Item #6, ORD 2010-798, Apv Fair Share Assessmt with Montgomery Land Co for “Palmetto Bay RAC” Proj.  The Council Auditor’s Analysis of the bill was attached to the marked agenda.  Assistant Council Auditor further noted that amendments would be added to the bill during the Committee meeting.

 

Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold indicated that Attorney Babette Ashley and Julie Miller, representing the Florida Yacht Club would be at the Committee meeting to address any concerns and answer questions.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
