Attendance: Dylan Reingold,
Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Folks Huxford, and Steve Smith, Department
of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur and Rick Campbell, Office of City
Council
John Crofts called the meeting
to order at 3:33 p.m. and took everyone through the marked agenda containing the
suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
11-254 Mr. Crofts conveyed
his understanding that the Chair intends to hear this item; it was anticipated that Mr. Bill Killingsworth,
Director of Planning, will address the committee and answer questions; it was unknown if Ms. Lisa Rinaman, Office
of the Mayor, would be present
11-316 Mr. Reingold advised
that the agent authorization did not specify a person, and that he will attempt to clarify; in response to a
question, it was verified that the proposed amendment
is for a sign base not exceeding twenty-four inches
11-344 Proposed amendment
includes additional address and provides a revised exhibit
11-345 Proposed amendment
includes additional address
11-355 Mr. Reingold indicated
that there are community concerns for the Planning and Development Department to address
11-363 Mr. Reingold stated
that he will be working with the new District Council Member, and he suggested a meeting involving the
Planning and Development Department, Riverside- Avondale
Preservation, the new District Council Member, and himself to address policy- based concerns
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
