Attendance: Committee
Chair John Crescimbeni; Committee Members Don Redman and Ray Holt; Dylan
Reingold, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Department of Planning and
Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Sharonda Davis, and Rick Campbell, Office of
City Council
The Committee Chair, John Crescimbeni,
called meeting to order at 3:34 p.m. and he asked Mr. John Crofts to take
everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
10-389 Proposed amendments
include PUD conditions
10-595/10-596 Bill 10-596 is
to be considered first, with anticipated motion to withdraw 10-595 afterward
10-670 Deferred until further
notice
10-842 Chair stated intent to
consider this item first on the agenda; Mr. Reingold indicated there are issues to be addressed involving proposed
conditions
10-856 Bill expected to be
deferred today, with joint meeting scheduled for tomorrow
10-876 It was noted that both
the Planning and Development Dept. and the Planning Commission are recommending denial; C/M Redman indicated
there may be several persons present to speak
at the public hearing and deferral could be requested; discussion was held concerning withdrawal versus denial, with
Mr. Reingold advising that a withdrawal would
allow the bill to be reintroduced; the Chair offered to take this bill near the
front of the agenda
10-879 Mr. Killingsworth,
Director of Planning and Development, is expected to be in attendance; the Chair indicated his intent
to leave it up to committee members not at the joint
meeting last night as to whether a presentation would again be made
10-883 Proposed amendment
technical in nature
10-886 Procedure and options were
discussed, and Mr. Reingold advised that a determination of standing should first be made, as that this
would determine any following action; mention was
made that withdrawal may be requested
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:41 p.m.
