At the close of the agenda, Ms. Cindy Laquidara, General Counsel, and Ms. Sidman explained the Council redistricting process, deadlines, and the Rules Committee involvement.  Four community hearings are being scheduled to gather public input on the proposed maps.  Plans for informing the public concerning the hearings were discussed, including advertisements and placement on web pages for both the Rules and Reapportionment committees.
