Discussion included access, deferral by the Waterways Commission, concerns expressed by other City agencies, concerns with the ultimate use of the property, and the lack of a binding agreement concerning the road closure.  Information was requested on how the property was obtained and its history.

 

Amendment removes waiver of Section 122.422, and provides that if the road is closed the property can only be used for saltwater mitigation, with such language to be inserted as a covenant in any property sale deed or title along with reversion provisions.
