The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 1:32 p.m.

 

 

The Chair announced that following the agenda items, JTA would be at the Committee meeting to brief the Committee on the proposed fare increase issues, particularly issues related to concerns with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. 

 

Dr. Fetner, one of the property owners, would be at the meeting to discuss his appeal on the 911 Emerg Addressing Advisory Committee’s reassignment of addresses on Southpoint Parkway (re: Resolution 2011-309).

 

The Chairated that while Item #3, RESO 2011-607, Req FDEP to Delay Issuance of the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill Discharge Permit, would be taken up, there would be no presentations by either the St. Johns Riverkeeper or the Georgia-Pacific officials who would be at the meeting. The Committee Members would be able to raise questions with anyone in the course of the deliberations.  Council Member Robin Lumb  would offer his substitute to the bill; Council Member Jim Love had filed a substitute to the measure, as well, and as the bill’s sponsor, would speak first.

 

Deputy General Counsel Steve Rohan suggested that all of the 911 Emerg Addressing Advisory Committee’s address reassignment bills be taken up at the same time in a public hearing during the Committee Meeting.  Peggy Sidman advised the Chair that she had maps that would be distributed enabling the Members to better understand the issues under discussion.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:38 p.m.
