The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by the Chairman.

 

The Chair announced that the Committee would take up 5 items that were appeals of the 911 Emergency Addressing Advisory Committee to Reassign Out of Sequence Addresses.  A Public Hearing would be held for RESO-Q 2011-308 re Appeal by Liberty Property Limited Partnership…6600 Southpoint Parkway; RESO-Q 2011-309 re Appeal by Alan Fetner, Fetner & Hartigan  Periodontics…4211 Southpoint Parkway; RESO-Q 2011-612 re Appeal by Laura Bittencourt…639 Southpoint Parkway; RESO-Q 2011-613 re Appeal by Sayer Enterprises…6639 Southpoint Parkway; RESO-Q 2011-614 re Appeal by Ken Jackson, Managing Member of Bengal Properties…6639 Southpoint Parkway.

 

All items would be ready for action at the close of Public Hearings.  Peggy Sidman, Office of General Counsel, explained the procedure for acting, indicating that the Committee should make clear to the 911 Committee what the Committee’s suggested actions were should the Committee remand the appeals back to the 911 Committee.  She also distributed maps to give the Committee a better understanding as to the locale of the addresses referenced in the legislation.

 

The Chair announced that the Committee would take up Item #6, RESO 2011-607, Req FDEP to Delay Issuance of the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill Discharge Permit, after a presentation from a representative from Georgia-Pacific and the Riverkeeper, Neil Armingeon.

 

The Chair indicated that Item #3, ORD 2011-460, Closing & Abandoning …3 Sections of Rosewood Ave, was being deferred at the request of Council Member Doyle Carter.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
