Bill Summary
Fact Sheet R: Approve Chairman Crescimbeni posed questions to Public Works
Director Jim Robinson and Solid Waste Division Chief Jeff Foster regarding
reports that Advanced Disposal Services owes the City solid waste host fees
from its operation of the yard waste facility at Old Kings Road
Landfill. Mr. Foster indicated that an
investigation is on-going as to whether host fees may have been payable on a
portion of the yard waste that was not recycled but was landfilled
instead. Mr. Crescimbeni requested
that a report be presented to a special Finance Committee meeting next
Tuesday immediately preceding the City Council agenda meeting. DEFER SPECIAL FINANCE
