The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:27 p.m.
Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy reviewed the Council Auditor’s Office marked agenda.
There were seven items on the agenda. Three items were ready for action; three items were being deferred; one item was being seconded and re-referred.
On Item # 1, ORD 2012-69, Approp $257,253….St. Nicholas Town Ctr Project…Dist 3, Council Member Greg Anderson asked why this item has been continually deferred. Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy explained that the constituents in the Council District have not yet reached an accord on how they want to allocate the funds and what the components of the project would entail.
On Item # 2, ORD 2012-128, Approp $125,000 from Old Kings Rd Landfill Mitigation Acct to Purchase Propty Adjacent to Scott Park for Future Parking Lot & Sports Facility, John Jones of Public Works/Real Estate advised the Committee that a new price figure for property had been arrived at in the amount of $60,000. Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy indicated that a CIP project listing will have to be attached and that Council Rules stipulated that a super-majority would be needed to change a CIP.
The Chair indicated that at the close of the agenda at the Committee meeting, she would announce the formation of a Subcommittee.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:35 PM.
