The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:28 p.m.

 

The Chair indicated that the Rules and Finance Committees were having a joint committee meeting on June 6, 2012 to consider ORD-MC 2012-212, ORD-MC 2012-213 and ORD-MC 2012-364 (Economic Development) and that he expected that RCDPHS will participate in the deliberations, as well.

 

The Chair announced that Item # 14, ORD-MC 2012-296, (anti-discrimination in housing, employment, etc) will be moved to the end of the agenda.   Though he expects to defer the bill, the Chair announced that he would entertain public comment; he expects to control the timing of the comment period in the interest of moving matters along in a reasonable manner.

 

Though the marked agenda indicated that it was ready for action, the Chair announced that Item #19, ORD 2012-347, Auth an Economic Dev Agreemt bet City, JEDC & Novitas Solutions, Inc, would be deferred.

 

Seven (7) items were ready for action; nine (9) items were being deferred; and four (4) items were being seconded and re-referred.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:38 p.m.
