Attendance: Council Members Bill Gulliford (Chair), Lori Boyer, Jim Love, Kimberly Daniels; Assistant General Counsel Margaret Sidman,; Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy; Jessica Deal, Mayor’s Office; Scott Wiley; Chris Quinn, Chamber of Commerce; John Jones, Public Works/Real Estate; JSO Chief Maxine Person; Jack Shad, Public Parking; David Chapman, Financial News & Daily Record; Karen Bates, Duval Federal Credit Union; Executive Council Assistant Stan Johnson; Marilyn Allen, Legislative Services; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:28. He announced that though Item #24, ORD-MC 2012-296, Amend Secs 60.105 (Functions, Powers & Duties), & 400.101 (Statemt of Policy), Chapts 402 (Equal Employmt Opportunity, 406 (Public Accommodations) & 408 (Fair Housing), Ord Code, was for second reading and re-referral, he wanted everyone to have an opportunity to express themselves and viewpoint but wanted the time restricted.
The Chair also announced that at the end of the agenda items, Council Member had an item that she wanted to air.
Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy was asked to review the Council Auditor’s Office marked agenda. 10 items were ready for action; 8 items were being deferred; and 7 items were being seconded and re-referred.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:31 p.m.
