The Chair called the agenda meeting to order at 1:27 p.m. and asked Assistant Council Auditor to review the agenda.

The Chair indicated that he was deferring Item #6, ORD 2012-26, Transferring $59,928 from 4th Judicial Circuit Court to JSO for Victim Safety & Offender Accountability in Cases of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault & Stalking…., because the bill had been deferred in Finance earlier in the day with the expectation that additional information on the bill would be forthcoming.  Council Member Schellenberg thought that the Committee should know that the Finance Committee particularly wanted additional information on funds in the legislation allocated for a new position.  Before the Committee acted, we should have the benefit of the additional information.

The Chair explained the nature of the emergency action requested for Item #16, RESO 2012-76, Expressing Council’s Support of the Jax Zoo Living Shoreline Proj.

Council Member Daniels requested that representatives of Sunrise Pictures be allowed to have a brief presentation on an impending movie project for Jacksonville.

The Chair announced that there would be a discussion on the Beaches, the history of recent relationship between the Beaches and Jacksonville (issues).  This is an item on the list of priorities that the Chairman has asked the RCDPHS Committee to consider for further study.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:35 p.m.
