& REREFER At the conclusion of the agenda Council Member Crescimbeni
asked about the status of funding for the JEDC which was only budgeted for
the first 6 months of the fiscal year.
Jessica Deal stated that because of position vacancies the JEDC’s
funding will extend slightly past March 31st, but not much
longer. The administration is working
on a contingency plan for how to operate the economic development function
when those funds are exhausted. Council Member Boyer asked about the status of Phase II of
the Mayor’s administrative reorganization, which the Council understood was to
be presented by March 31st.
Ms. Deal said that the Mayor will have an announcement before the end
of the month. |
