At the close of agenda items, Council
Member Kimberly Daniels raised a concern about parking spaces in front of City
Hall/St.  James Building.  She indicated that there at least 8 vehicles
currently parked with blue passes.  When
the Council Member inquired as to who issued the passes, she was advised that
the Mayor’s Office provides the parking passes.
The Council Member felt that some of the vehicles often parked in the
spaces were vehicles belonging to visitors to the park (Hemming Plaza) and that
this could be a security concern.  She
was concerned that no one enforced the parking spaces regulations.  The Chair asked Tiffani Dailey to take this
concern back to the Administration and report back.  Council Member Joost suggested that Council
Member contact Jack Shad with her concerns about enforcement of parking spaces
regulations.
There being no further business, the
meeting was adjourned at 2:20 P.M.
