The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy reviewed the marked agenda and reported that five (5) items were ready for action; eight (8) items were being deferred; one (1) item was to be seconded and re-referred.
Item # 12, ORD 2012-568, Auth 1st Amend to the Amended & Restated Agreemt with Duval County Fair, Inc. d/b/a Greater Jax Agricultural Fair…was being deferred at the request of Council President Bishop.
On Item #13, ORD 2012-569, ORD auth Economic Dev Agreemt with Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. supporting Expansion; Recommended Apv by Fla Dept of Economic Opportunity as a QTI Business….the Chair noted that though the Auditor’s Marked Agenda had this as a deferred item, there could be some discussion at the Committee meeting. Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy announced that the Finance Committee that had met earlier in the day decided to have a special October 9th meeting to discuss issues raised in the course of their deliberations.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:37 PM
