READ 2ND & REREFER
At the close of the agenda, the Chairman indicated that now
that the budget process has come and gone, beginning in October, he would like
to have Committee Members raise issues that they feel merit focus and
discussion.  Council Members Clark, Gaffney
and Daniels all expressed concern about the lack of adequate parks and
recreational equipment.  Council Member
Daniels particularly lamented the lack of baseball complexes in Council
Districts 7, 8, 9 & 10.  The Chair
expressed the hope that the Committee could be proactive in a number of areas.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 2:12 PM.
