Attendance: Council Members Doyle Carter (Chair), Don Redman; Deputy General Counsel Steve Rohan, Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy, Tiffani Daily, Administration; Juliette Williams, Legislative Services; John J. Jackson, Research Division.
The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:31 p.m.
The Assistant Council Auditor, Janice Billy, reviewed the marked agenda.
One (1) item was ready for action; eight (8) items were being deferred; and two (2) items were being seconded and re-referred.
On Item #8, ORD-MC 2012-364, Downtown Dev Agncy, Economic Dev…., the Chair announced that he had requested that the Council President add RCD to the Joint Rules & Finance Committee that meets on Wednesdays (5:00 p.m.) to deliberate on this proposed ordinance and ORD-MC 2012-213, Economic Dev Incentive Legislation… Jessica Deal commented that the notice for the meeting would have to be amended to reflect RCD being added to the Joint Committee.
The Chair indicated that in the event that people came to the Committee meeting with the intent on commenting on Item #7, ORD-MC 2012-296 (Equal Employment Opportunity, Fair Housing, Public Accommodations, he would only recognize those individuals who had not had a previous opportunity to comment.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
