Attendance: Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Jim Love, Matt Schellenberg, Lori Boyer; Margaret Sidman, Dylan Reingold, Paige Johnston, Office of General Counsel; Sean Costigan, Council Auditor’s Office; Tiffani Dailey, Mayor’s Office; Lin White, Public Works; Executive Council Assistants Donna Barrow (Lumb), Kevin Kuzel (Love); Philip Zamarron, Legislative Aide; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. and proceeded to review the Council Auditor’s Office marked agenda.
The Chair announced that there was only one item on the agenda that was ready for action and that was Item# 1, ORD 2012-456, Auth Chief of Real Estate to Execute a Communications Tower Lease with TowerCom III, LLC for Alberts Field at 12073 Brady Road… The Chair indicated that the measure was being withdrawn at the request of the sponsor, Council Member Matt Schellenberg.
Assistant General Counsel Margaret Sidman explained that Item #2, ORD 2012-492, Approp $13,400,000 from JIA/CRA Tax Increment Dist to fund (1) Duval Rd Expansion…& (2) Future North Access Rd… was being deferred so as to await the completion of a study authorized in ORD 2012-601 that addresses the housing element, additional properties and other components in the Duval Road Expansion Project.
Though Item #3, ORD 2012-529, Apv 2nd Amend to Redev Agreemt bet City & Castro Southeast, Inc. & Successor Christieco Inc…is being deferred, Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold indicated that he has been meeting with the applicant.
On Item #4, ORD 2012-553, Auth a Constrn & Maint Agreemt with FDOT for FDOT Improvemts to SR 13 (Hendricks Ave from Arbor Ln to Lasalle St for the Landon Middle School Safe Routes to School Proj…., Council Member Lori Boyer explained that federal funds, through FDOT, is paying for the project; there were differences of opinion between residents as to where specific road improvements should be made; the Council Member expected that those differences would be aired and hoped resolved at a community meeting that was scheduled to be held later in the evening.
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:41 p.m.
