the ordinance; Mr. Schellenberg wanted to know why the Beaches and Baldwin
were excluded; Heather Reber of the Council
Auditor’s Office explained that those entities were capable of developing and
implementing their own, respective red light programs. Council Member Lumb indicated that while he
had some concerns and reservations brought to his attention, he was inclined
to support the ordinance in the interest of public safety. Director Michael Edwards of JSO fielded
most of the questions and explained the nature and objectives of the proposed
ordinance. |
