Attendance:  Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Jim Love, Matt Schellenberg, Ray Holt;  Steve Rohan, Deputy General Counsel; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Jessica Deal, Tiffani Dailey, Administration; Ellen Fales, Planning & Development Department;  Lin White,  John Jones Public Works Department; Chris Warren, Chamber of Commerce; Tony Bates, Concern Taxpayers;  Executive Council Assistants James Nealis, Kevin Kuzel, Connie Holt, Scott Wilson; Philip Zamarron, Legislative Aide; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.

 

The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:31 p.m. and proceeded to review the Council Auditor’s Office marked agenda.

 

The Chair indicated that the agenda for today’s Committee meeting was brief. Four (4) items were ready for action; two (2) items were being deferred; and one (1) item was being seconded and re-referred.

 

Item #1, ORD 2012-197, Naming the Green Space bet New Duval County Courthouse….as “Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Square,” was being deferred at the request of the sponsor, Council Member Clark.

 

The Chair explained that at the June 26, 2012 Council meeting, the Council President remanded Item #2, ORD 2012-297, Approp $4,363,190 from First Coast High School Pol Prev Approp[ by Ord 2006-901-E to be Used (1) by North Fla TPO toward the Braddock/JIA Future Rail Corridor Assessmt Feasibility…..,” back to the TEU Committee for further deliberations. 

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:35 p.m.
