Council Member Daniels mentioned
the program that the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) has underway at the
Prime Osborn Convention Center to provide assistance to people with home ownership issues. The program is for first-time
homeowners. The Council Member said that she was disappointed
with the turn-out of people at the sessions.
She implored her colleagues to make their constituents aware of the
program.
The Chair announced that at
the next Committee meeting, representatives of the Jacksonville Transportation
Authority would be on hand to update the Committee on developments at JTA.
There being no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:17 p.m.
