The Chair noted that though the Committee had previously acted on Item #1, ORD 2012-32, Apv Fair Share Assessmt with N.G. Wade Investment Co for “Pickett Park Light Industrial: Tract IV,” Proj, the bill was re-referred to the Committee.  There had been a problem with a Public Hearing notice.

The Chair asked about the status of Item #8, ORD Apv 2nd Amend to Fair Share Contract with Signature Land, Inc.  Steve Smith, Planning & Development, indicated that we have been waiting for input from the Public Works Department on cost estimates.  There may be an additional issue; Mr. Smith will be meeting with Bill Joyce on the matter.  Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold felt that the bill should be ready when the Committee next meets.  Jessica Deal, Mayor’s Office, indicated that she will be assisting in the efforts to move the bill along.

The Chair reminded the Committee that at the end of the agenda items, Mike Blaylock and Shannon Eller of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority would be on hand to make a presentation and field questions on issues recently raised in the Florida Times-Union regarding JTA drivers.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
