Attendance:  Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Jim Love, Richard Clark, Don Redman; Peggy Sidman, Dylan Reingold, Mike Wedner,  David D’Agata, Kristina Nelson, Cherry Shaw, Office of General Counsel; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Jessica Deal, Administration; Ellen Fales, Mark Shelton, Planning Department;  Bob Williams, Public Works/Real Estate; Chris Warren, Chamber of Commerce; Steve Cissel; Tony Bates;  ECA  Debbie Delgado ; Juliette Williams; Legislative Services; John J. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 1:33 p.m.

 

The Chair announced that the first five items on the agenda (RESO-Q 2011-308, 2011-309, 2011-612, 2011-613, 2011-614) were appeals to the address changes made by the 911 Emergency Addressing Advisory Comm to Reassign an  Out of Sequence Address on South Point Parkway; these items were re-referred to the TEU Committee at the January 10, 2012 Council meeting.  The Chair indicated that the Committee had three options: (1) defer the bills; (2) vote the bills up or down; (3) re-refer the bills back to the 911 Committee with additional instructions.  The Chair announced that Assistant General Counsel Peggy Sidman would provide the Committee with background during the Committee meeting.

 

On Item # 10, ORD 2011-761, re River Oaks Rd at-grade Public RR Crossing, the Chair indicated that  there may be questions raised during the Committee meeting.  Assistant General Counsel Dylan Reingold, having worked on the legislation since its inception, would be able to field questions.

 

On Items 11 & 12, RESO 2011-779 & RESO 2011-780, Designating Propty known as Dog Wood Park at 7407 Salisbury Rd and Propty at 9225 Dames Point Rd, respectively, as Brownfield Areas, the Chair indicated that he expected someone to be on hand to explain what the criteria were for designating a property as a Brownfield Area.

 

There being no further business, the Agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:38 p.m.
