Amendment

Per OGC, the Amendment grants the sign waiver subject to the following conditions:  (a) The maximum size of the sign face shall be 32 square feet, double sided; (b) The sign shall be not less than 130 feet from the nearest single-family home; (c) The changing message device shall be static and unchanging for not less than 12 seconds between messages; (d) The sign face shall be oriented perpendicular to Soutel Drive.

Substitute

Requires a transient vendor on private property to maintain a copy of the appropriate permits on-site at all times when vending activities are occurring; provides an exception to the permitting requirement for de minimis, temporary charitable fundraising activities; and requires that a private property owner be notified by the City of violations of the Chapter on the site before the issuance of a citation.

Per OGC, the Amendment grants the sign waiver subject to the following condition: (a) At such time that the sign base or pole is replaced for any reason, the new sign shall conform to the requirements of the Zoning Code.

Per OGC, the Amendment sets forth that, if the Commission votes to deny the demolition permit application, at the next meeting after it considered the demolition request, so long as the next meeting is no less than 21 days following (unless the Applicant has requested a continuance or deferral) it shall also issue an advisory recommendation to the City Council on the structure's landmark status utilizing the criteria and procedures in 307.104.
