Meeting Convened: 1:00 p.m.
Chairwoman Boyer convened the
meeting and reviewed the marked agenda which included 6 items to be deferred, 2
items ready for action and 4 public hearings to be opened and continued.
2012-657 and -720 (appeal of
Historic Preservation Commission denial of demolition permit and historic
landmark designation of the Bostwick Building on East Bay Street): Chairwoman
Boyer and Dylan Reingold have both spoken with the owner of the property who
requests deferral of the bill tonight.
The public hearing will be opened and continued and the bill deferred to
February 5th.
2013-20 (appeal of the
Historic Preservation Commission’s grant of a COA for alterations to and
construction of an addition to a building in Five Points at Margaret and Post
streets): Mr. Reingold reported that he had spoken with the representatives of
the appellant and of Riverside Avondale Preservation and they agree to hold the
appeal hearing on February 5th.
Paul Harden, representing several neighbors adjacent to the shopping
center, requested that the item be taken up early in the agenda, but no action
is planned at this meeting.
