The meeting was called to order at 1:35 P.M.
The Chair reviewed the Council Auditor’s Office’s marked agenda. There were five (5) items ready for action; five (5) items were being deferred; seven (7) items were being recommended for second reading and re-referral; and there was a request to move one (1) item as an emergency.
The Chair announced that on Item #5, ORD-MC 2013-683, Amend Chapt 32 (Public Works Dept), to Remove Landscape Maint & Mowing from the Right of Way Div & Create a new Part 8 (Mowing & Maint Div) to Consolidate Responsibility for said Activities within 1 Division…., a revised amendment had been prepared; the auditors will explain the revised amendment at the Committee meeting.
Though Item #10, ORD 2013-757, Auth 1st Amend to Amended & Restated Purchase & Sale & Redev Agreemt bet City, OED, Hallmark Partners, Inc….., Attorney Steve Diebenow, representing Hallmark Partners, requested that the matter be taken up in Committee so that it could be acted on at the next Council meeting (December 10th). He further requested that he be permitted the opportunity at the Committee meeting to make a presentation to explain what the proposed legislation entailed. The Chair suggested that Mr. Diebenow make his presentation at a special meeting on Monday (preceding a noticed Joint Reorganization, Finance & Rules Committees meeting scheduled for Monday).
There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:38 P.M.
