explained that this was the same item that failed to move as an emergency at
the previous Council meeting. At its
November 13, 2013 meeting, the Jacksonville Waterways Commission passed a
resolution that recommended that the Council approve this ordinance as an
emergency. The Chair, Council Member
John Crescimbeni, reported that there had been a number of anglers who used
the floating dock at the Lions Club Park that attended the Waterways
Commission meeting to press the City to repair or replace the dock. |
