Attendance: Council Member Doyle Carter (Chair); Council Member Don Redman; Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy; Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston; Michelle Barth, Administration; Cynthia Nixon, Jacksonville Children’s Commission; Executive Council Assistant Edward Suggs (Daniels); Paula Shoup, Legislative Services; John J. The meeting was called to order at 1:36 P.M.
The Chair reviewed the Council Auditor’s Office’s marked agenda. There were four (4) items ready for action; two (2) items being deferred; and seven (7) items being seconded and recommended for second reading and re-referral.
The Chair announced that Item #5, ORD 2013-227 Approp $75,000….to Installation of a Dog Park at Ed Austin Regional Park… would be taken up first on the agenda because the ordinance’s sponsor, Council President Bishop, would be present to field any questions on the proposed legislation.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:37 P.M.
