Attendance:  Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Jim Love; Assistant General Counsel Paige Johnston; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Michelle Barth, Amanda Trussell, Mayor’s Office; Lin White, John Jones Public Works Department; Joe Whitaker, Economic Development Office; Terrance Ashanti-Barker, Elaine Spencer, Laura Stagner, Neighborhoods Department; Kenneth Pinnix; Wyman Duggan; Sabrina Ashburn; Nikki Mattos, Brad Taylor, UNF;  Executive Council Assistants Leeann Krieg (Anderson), Donna Barrow (Lumb), Kevin Kuzel (Love); Connie Holt (Holt); Edw Suggs (Daniels); Juliette Williams, Legislative Aide; John J. The Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:34 P.M. and proceeded to review the Council Auditor’s Agenda.  The Chair announced that at the Committee meeting, he would be turning the chair over to Council Member Jim Love who is expected to be named Chairman of the TEU Committee for the new Council year.

 

The Chair announced that Items #, ORD 2013-118, #2, ORD 2013-179 and #4, ORD 2013-241, all relating to the relocation of the Supervisor of Elections office and operations, were being deferred; a joint meeting with TEU, Finance and Rules Committees is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th, to review the proposed ordinances.

 

On Item #5, ORD 2013-292, Approp $1,826,684.91 in CDBG Prog Income to…NW Jax Community Dev Corp…..Limited Repair Prog….Utility Tap-in Prog…Emerg Svcs Homeless Coalition….Clara White Mission…, Terrance Ashanti-Barker and Laura Stagner of the Neighborhoods Department would be present at the Committee meeting to field any questions.

 

On Item #6, ORD 2013-297, Estab Temp Moratorium on Demolition Permits within the Brooklyn Neighborhood Area…... Council Member Jones, who represents the area, had requested deferring the measure pending a community meeting scheduled for the coming week.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:39 P.M.
