Attendance: Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Jim Love, Robin Lumb, Matt Schellenberg; Peggy Sidman, Paige Johnston, Office of General Counsel; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Jessica Deal, Mayor’s Office; Lin White, John Jones, Eric Fuller, Public Works Department; Ed Randolph, Office of Economic Development; David Kaufman, JaxPort; Chris Quinn, Chamber of Commerce; Shannon Eller, Jim Catlett, Infinity Global Solutions; Executive Council Assistant D Leeann Summerford (Anderson); Philip Zamarron, Legislative Aide; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. and proceeded to review the Council Auditor’s Office’s marked agenda. All eight items were ready for action.
The Chair indicated that Items # 1 & 2, ORD –MC 2012-634, Amend Sec 740.101 (Applicability; Owners’ Constrn or Repair of Sidewalks, Curbs & Gutters)…and ORD 2012-635, Permitting Angle & Reverse Angle Parking Spaces throughout City as apvd by City Engineer… came out of the Context Sensitive Streets Committee and that that body’s Chair, Council Member Lori Boyer, and Bill Joyce, Chief, Engineering & Construction Management, Public Works, would be at the Committee meeting to explain the provisions and field questions.
Eric Fuller, Solid Waste Division, Public Works Department, would be at the Committee meeting to explain and/or field questions on the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CON) items on the agenda.
On Item #6, ORD 2012-710, Auth Lease of Agreemt with Old Plank Rd Baptist Church (Lessee), 10-Year term…for bldg. at 8264 Old Plank Rd…, the Chair indicated that if Council Member Doyle Carter, the measure’s sponsor, was not at the meeting to explain and take questions, the item would be deferred.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:34 P.M.
