In attendance:  Council Member Greg Anderson (Chair)

 

Also:  Kirk Sherman and Janice Billy – Council Auditor’s Office; Paula Shoup and Jessica Morales – Legislative Services Division

Meeting Convened:  8:53 a.m.

 

Chairman Anderson reviewed the Council Auditor’s marked agenda which included 10 items marked for deferral, 12 items ready for action (1 as a substitute for re-referral) and 12 items for second reading and re-referral.

 

2013-820 (extension of the local option gas tax): the bill is proposed for a substitute to attach copies of the interlocal agreements and project list and then re-referral back to committee.

 

2014-64 (lease agreement with Teach for America for space in the Ed Ball Building): the bill will be deferred while awaiting a written legal opinion from bond counsel about any taxability implications of non-City use of the space.
